Target Metal is straight-up useless for the same reason he is outclassed against Floating enemies, but Target Relic is a decent one, as not only does it work with his Curse Immunity, he can potentially delay many Relics that he outranges. While his Ultra Talents don't expand Megidora much, he sees slightly better matchups. Boosting his knockback allows him to hinder pushers better, but that's how far it goes, since the aforementioned anti-Floating units actually do better without knockback due to their low range, and they can eliminate many Floating enemies anyway. Unfortunately, as useful as they can be, Megidora does not stand well to Relics and could only be situationally used when Relic Doge Base is the main threat. Knockback and Curse Immunity are all the better options, as Megidora is vulnerable to curse and his attacks do not have guaranteed effects. Wave Attacks do allow him to have a bigger impact due to his relatively fast attack rate and high damage, but the chances are too low for any meaningful answers. The stat talents are not very important, as Megidora is typically outclassed by other units such as Ururun (440 range), and they don't offer much for what he does. Furthermore, they do not resolve any problems he had. It is not recommended to unlock Megidora's talents as they are extremely expensive, being an uber. To make matters worse, his knockback count is not increased, meaning that boost in particular may be pointless. Though these boosts make him a better generalist, the movement speed increase means that Megidora will sometimes rush into enemy frontlines and die quicker. God-Emperor Megidora gains higher health, attack power, attack range and movement speed. A great variety of accessible anti-floating options exist in the form of Cameraman, Fishman and Sanzo, who all usually do not share the issue, and their low range reduces the risks of exposure of other units to other threats. Unfortunately, this is the very reason he is outclassed. However, just like any unit with knockback, he must be used with care if Floating enemies are supported by foes of other traits, as he might knock them away and put your remaining units into the range of other threats. However, you should protect him properly as he has a tendency to recklessly rush into frontlines due to high movement speed. He is also a moderate generalist thanks to his stats. He can outrange many of them, and then counter them with his slow/knockback effects, preventing them from advancing, a valuable aspect considering these enemies consist of many nasty, short-ranged pushers. ![]() ![]() Megidora is a very good unit against Floating enemies. Still, appreciate the contribution, Barry. In order to classify Cat Units, see here Strategy/Usage Personally, I find separated PvE and PvP lists more helpful, akin to MKxJumps in the past. So, naturally, do your research on heroes using the search function and/or watch the video for brief commentary, and it behooves everyone to know the difference between PvP, PvE, and legitimately versatile heroes. Opposite example: ofc all Transcendent are S or above, with SQH being at the top due to pure well-roundedness (see numerous posts that say SQH is solid first), yet the niche team building required for SWJ/Asmo without huge PvE benefit still has them both on S. Yet Lock - who is absolutely still solid in PvP for baiting HP swap, has dropped off due to things like arti requirement to contribute to Death 100 runs. “Overall” is tilted towards “core” game modes to complete preference seems towards Vortex, Death 100 versus PvP.įor example: Penny is so high per alternate for Death 100 at v3+, SL, and presumably late mid game PvP(?).
